Well last week was a bloodbath across most asset classes. US Stocks tanked into bear market territory, albeit the S&P500 closed a few ticks above the official level. The Nasdaq and Dow were terrible. Even bond yields retraced last week as did the US dollar, which has been strong for weeks.

Friday calmed a week of volatility, but we expect this relief rally to be a dead cat bounce that will be sold off. Calm came from the US Fed indicting it will stick to 0.5% rises in June and July but will do more if data worsens.

Funnily enough the stock market is ignoring all the risk events happening, and still are happening. Russian war in Ukraine continues unabated and could easily escalate across the border into NATO territory. China is still in COVID lockdown and could lock down more regions as the virus rages.
